FastScreenAb™ technology is used to screen the mouse monoclonal antibodies with at least 5 synthetic peptides of Tanapox, Yaba-like Disease Virus 7L. The mAb with highest affinity will be selected. The selected antibody recognizes Tanapox, Yaba-like Disease Virus 7L. The isotype is Mouse IgG. It can be used in applications: WB (Other applications need to be tested.).

Yaba-like disease virus is intimately associated with the Tanapox virus. Both Tanapox virus and YLDV are DNA poxviruses belonging to the genus of Yatapoxvirus, which has similar size, shape, and ultrastructure. Although monkeys and baboons are natural hosts of these viruses, they also infect humans or other primates. Tanapox virus affects almost exclusively the epidermis in either monkeys or humans, whereas the lesions of YLDV are proliferative and invade mesodermal cells.
